    Fluoro-Seal Opens
New Plant in Kansas City
 
 

HOUSTON, TX September 8, 1999,

Fluoro-Seal, Inc. of Houston, TX has announced the opening of their twelfth fluorination treatment facility in the US. The new plant, located at 6127 Deramus, Kansas City, MO, will begin production November 1, 1999 offering the same barrier treatment service and surface enhancement treatments for polyethylene and polypropylene that is offered at their other ISO-9002 certified facilities. Fluoro-Seal, an industry leader in post mold fluorination treatment, currently provides barrier enhancement of containers for such diverse products as medical & pharmaceutical packaging, health and beauty supplies, biomedical devices, agricultural chemicals, industrial and consumer cleaning solutions and other aggressive chemicals. In addition, Fluoro-Prep, their surface enhancement treatment, is being widely used for improved adhesion of paints and inks and mechanical adhesion of parts on items ranging in size from mascara tubes to geoliners.
